Le Cirque Mini-album

Cover Page - Trimmed in Ribbon and accented with glitter glue.
I still need to work on perfecting the art of applying Stickles.

I have an obsession with Graphic 45 papers.  I love the vintage images in a huge variety of themes and tend to purchase older and/or retired lines at Tuesday Morning where they are sold in bulk packs of paper for $3.99 each - a total steal!  If I cannot wait on the newer lines to be discounted though, I will purchase immediately....Secret Garden for example.

One of my favorite retired lines is Le Cirque.  I have had SO much fun with this paper.  Below is a mini-album that I made using a Pink Paislee board cover, 4 different sheets of  Le Cirque Graphic 45 paper, personal photos, polka dot washi tape, circus stamps, white cardstock, kraft paper and simple embellishments.

3 Ring Circus - come on see the show!

Stamped and colored image of female
acrobat / trapeeze artist  is actually raised for dimension and "swinging" from hemp twine.
I just realized it looks like she is about to kick the little clown in the face......
Ooops!  She should be more careful!

"Ring" in Circus letters colored with distress inks and enhanced with glossy accents
The pictures below are not as crisp as I would like but that did not stop me from sharing.  I plan to purchase some reinforcers for the rings and add journaling, but other than that, this album is complete!

Fabric name tags (left page - not shown) and theme (right)

Fun "Daring and Death Defying" page to serve as a reminder
lest you forget what the circus is all about!

Group picture -with circus themed stamp border on left.

Black and White with color highlights.  Left page blank to add journaling.
The picture was converted to black and white from color and the noses were shaded red with an online editing tool

Back cover.  A little blurry (sorry!)

Here is an example of a card I made out of the same paper and die cuts.  This was layered over blue, plaid and orange glitter cardstock, decorated with a die cut, metal brad and trimmed with tulle ribbon and hemp twine.  The envelope is handmade out of an 8x8 page of paper

I have some other card projects that I am looking forward to sharing.  Feel free to share links to your own projects!
