Easter Sunday

Here are pictures of the girls from Easter morning. Both are growing their hair out so it is in that in-between stage. I am not sure why Miss N. decided to wear that old sweater. As you can also see in the pictures, besides the girls, there s a nice shot of the firewood, TV. intercom system , the reward list tacked to the wall and the papers and quarter on the coffee table

We had a very nice nice Easter. I was pretty tired so did baked chicken on Saturday and on Sunday did the traditional ham. Today I worked from home so I put the left over ham bone in the crockpot with split peas, onion, carrots, celery, seasoning and water. It was delicious~ We still also have leftover ham and chicken so I will not have to cook for a couple days at least.

For some reason Miss E. has started calling my dad Bubba. At first I did not know who she was talking about. We were not sure why she was calling him this but a little research uncovered the fact that one of her friends calls her grandpa Bubba.

Here in NC the weather went from cold to hot. I guess we are not getting a Spring this year. Seriously I was wearing my winter coat the week before last. Then this past weekend we had to turn on the AC because the weather was in the 80's. Since it was so nice out the girls talked my dad (a.k.a. Bubba) into taking them out on their bikes.

Ryan is off next weekend so hopefully the weather will hold out and we can do something fun with the girls. Maybe start the organic garden we are planning on...
